Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover how you and Boundary Web Services ("Boundary," "we," "us," or "our") work together. They apply when you submit a quote, reserve a build, or use any of our hosted services through boundarybiz.com. We've kept them short and plainspoken on purpose.
What Boundary is
Boundary is a managed website platform for local service businesses. We build your site and we run the infrastructure behind it — hosting, SSL, domain setup, deployments, security, and ongoing maintenance — so you don't have to think about it.
Our standard package is $499 to build plus $99/month to host and manage. A $99 deposit reserves your build slot. The remaining build balance is due before launch. The $99/month begins when your site goes live and is billed month-to-month.
What's included each month
Your monthly subscription covers:
- Hosting, SSL, and domain setup
- Security patches, backups, and uptime monitoring
- Your private client portal for leads and account info
- Instant lead alerts to your phone and email
- Reasonable minor ongoing updates — swapping photos, refreshing copy, updating service areas or hours, small content changes
Larger work — new pages, structural redesigns, custom integrations, or significant content rewrites — sits outside the monthly plan and is quoted separately before any work begins. We'll always confirm scope and price with you first.
Subscription & access
Hosting, the client portal, and ongoing management stay active while your subscription is current. If a payment fails, we'll reach out by email and SMS to get it sorted.
If an account stays unpaid after a reasonable grace period, we may temporarily pause hosting until things are caught up. We'd rather not — it's only there for accounts that go quiet entirely.
Domains
When Boundary registers a domain on your behalf, we manage it for you as part of the service — renewals, DNS, and email routing stay handled.
The domain is associated with your business and can be transferred to you upon request once your account is settled — just email us and we'll move it to the registrar of your choice. No drama, no holdouts.
Your content, our platform
You own the content you give us — your business name, logo, photos, and copy. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use anything you upload (photos of your work, customer reviews, third-party logos, etc.).
The website is built and runs on Boundary's hosting and platform infrastructure. The underlying code, design system, deployment tooling, and platform features are ours. While you're a Boundary subscriber, all of it is fully at your service. After cancellation, we'll provide an export of your text and image content on request.
Payments & refunds
All payments run securely through Stripe. The $99 deposit is fully refundable if we can't deliver a site you'd be proud to publish. Once your site is live and approved, the remaining build balance and monthly fees are non-refundable, but you can cancel future months anytime.
SMS messaging
When you submit our contact form and consent to texts, you agree to receive SMS communications from Boundary related to your quote, project, and account.

- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and other major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Boundary services to:
- Publish illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent content
- Send spam or unsolicited communications
- Infringe on third-party intellectual property
- Attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer our systems
We reserve the right to suspend or end service for clear violations of this section.
Cancellation
You can cancel monthly hosting any time by emailing team@boundarybiz.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. After cancellation we'll deactivate the hosted site and keep a backup for 30 days in case you change your mind. Domains we manage on your behalf can be transferred to you on request.
Limitation of liability
Boundary is provided on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Some services rely on trusted third-party providers outside Boundary's direct control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be sent by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date means you accept the updated version.
